Frequently Asked Questions
GENERAL
Where can I buy your microgreens near Boston?
You can order our fresh microgreens by making your way to our Shop page. We offer two convenient options - Grown to Order and Ready to Deliver. We drop your freshly harvested greens to your home or business, every Monday.
What's the difference between your "Grown-to-Order" and "Ready-to Deliver" collections?
We offer two ways to get your greens - depending on how you like to plan.
Grown-to-Order means your order is seeded and grown specifically for you. It takes a little more time, but gives you full menu access and ultimate customization.
Ready-to-Deliver is our weekly harvest - limited quantities of our most popular varieties, cut fresh and delivered every Monday.
Bottom line: if you want the full selection, go Grown to Order. If you want it fast, grab what's Ready to Deliver.
Just give it to me straight - who are you and why are you different?
We grow nutrient-dense microgreens using a closed-loop hydroponics system that combines precision farming and leverages the power of AI, with nature’s most efficient ecosystems. By magnifying nature's best conditions, we produce clean, sustainable, and flavorful greens year-round—with no soil, no synthetic chemicals, and 90% less water. It’s farming reimagined for the future: hyper-efficient, ultra-fresh, and packed with purpose.
Where are you based?
We're locals just like you. Our commercial grow space is located just 15 minutes from Boston.
Can I visit your facility?
While our indoor urban farm is not open to the public, we're committed to being fully transparent about our grow process- less any trade secrets ;). We welcome any questions you have about our farm.
What types of customers do you serve?
At Rebel Sprouts, we serve culinary trailblazers who demand bold flavor, vibrant color, and uncompromising freshness on every plate. We currently serve the fine tastes of Boston's best restaurants, caterers, personal chefs, and home cooks.
What areas do you deliver to?
We bring the freshest microgreens straight to your kitchen— delivery is available to all points within a 25-mile radius from Boston (we'd like to say within an hour from the city, but we all know Boston is in fact one hour from Boston).
Do you charge a delivery fee?
Delivery is complimentary on any order over $50. A modest $10 charge will apply to purchases under this threshold.
Do you offer subscriptions or bulk orders?
Yes! We offer weekly subscription boxes, custom blends, and bulk deliveries for home cooks, chefs and other culinary professionals.
Can I pick specific varieties in my delivery box?
Yep—custom orders are our jam. Just let us know your rebel mix, and we’ll make it happen. Our Ready-to-Deliver collection offers up to six varieties to choose from.
If you're looking to get even more customized- we're happy to curate a special blend for you. Custom orders carry a bit longer of a lead time- but if ordered in advance, we can get you on a rotating weekly, bi-weekly or monthly schedule.

Skeptical about tech-driven farming? Come walk with me, friend. Let me explain:
We totally get the love for traditional farming—it’s the root of where it all began. At Rebel Sprouts, we’re not trying to replace it—we’re just building on it with tools that let us grow cleaner, more sustainable produce using less land, water, and waste. Our greens are real food, grown from real seeds, just in a controlled environment that helps nature do its best work—no chemicals, no compromises. Precision farming just means we've ditched the dirt and dialed in the environment - clean air, clean water, perfect light. Safe? It's the gold standard of food safety.
